Is it wise to advertise you have an apartment for rent with pet? |

| We are in the process of finishing a two bedroom apartment in our basement. We are hoping to have it ready to rent by this spring. Now we are trying to decide if we want to put restrictions on our renters. No smoking is one of the restrictions. We don't have a problem with that one. We have several pets in our house and so I figure we could probably advertise 'an apartment for rent with pet.' It would have to be a small and quiet pet so that it didn't get our dogs all in a twist. Also, the pet that would accompany our renters would have to be house trained but we will be using tile on the floor as a precaution. It's still relatively difficult to find an apartment for rent with pet these days. My pets are good company for me and I would hate to deprive anyone else of the privilege of having their pet living with them. We have talked to various people about this and some say it is a good idea to advertise an apartment for rent with pet and some say it is a very bad idea to advertise an apartment for rent with pet. I guess we'll find out pretty soon one way or the other. |
