I have been thinking about getting pet health insurance for my dog after my last one ended up costing me thousands of dollars in kidney treatment. I am overwhelmed with the number of different pet health insurance carriers. I then found pet health insurance via the AKC. That seems like a name that I can trust. They apparently will cover up to $13,000.00 per year and they offer a free 60 day trial. Their plans cover injuries and wellness plans with shots and physicals. Best of all, they don't penalize you if you have a breed that has a tendency for specific problems. They apparently will also offer pet health insurance for cats even though they are the AKC. I am seriously thinking about going with a name I know. The AKC has been around for years and would not want to risk their good name on some pet health insurance scam in my opinion.
